Bovine Green’s final show.

When I first got the news that one of my favorite local bands, Bovine Green, was breaking up, I couldn’t help but cry. This is a band I have been listening to for almost a year. Although that may not be a very long time, they’ve still been at the top of my list. Also, I have become friends with a few of the boys in the band, and they’re some of the best people I know now. Tonight they had their final show together. I was expecting that I was going to cry again, but I didn’t. I think that’s because they just played so great. It was the best show I’d ever seen from them (: I also think it’s because I’m excited for where each of these boys are now going. Bassist, Sean, and keyboard player, Ben, are in a new jam band called the Woolly Jammoth. and they have already had their first show, which was absolutely fantastic. Guitarist and singer, John, will now be doing a lot of solo acoustic work and is also looking to start a new band. And drummer, Tanner, will be doing a lot of new projects, including hip-hop collaborations. With all four boys branching out to explore their musical talents, I couldn’t be any more excited! And even if they are splitting up, I will be a Bovine Green fan forever! ♥
